Altar Serving
Those who have made their First Holy Communion who wish to become an Altar Server should talk to a priest around Mass times to receive a form and the necessary information, or get in touch with the office.
For those over the age of 18 who wish to become Altar Servers, please contact our Parish Safeguarding Minister who will guide you through the necessary forms. safeguarding@southamptoncitycentrecatholics.org
Welcomers
Welcomers stand in the porch of the church and welcome people to our Sunday Masses. They greet them with a warm smile and pass them a copy of our newsletter and the books they will need to participate in the Mass. If a person is new to or visiting our parish they will help them orientate themselves providing key information as required. Volunteering Opportunities
Social Media Assistant
The Parish is looking for help managing our social media accounts. We would be looking to form a group of a few people to split up media roles, to help with the creation and posting of content and also help with ideas!
Very flexible role as we aren’t sure what we’re looking for. Get in touch!
Database Callers
The current Parish Database is outdated and in need of time and energy bringing it back up to scratch.
We would be looking for people willing to take on a handful of names from our current database to give them a call and to check the validity of their current information. Small chunks or big chunks - it would be useful either way!
